The Moosehead Band
The group, the "brain-child" of Kenny Walters, has been together since 1980 and is extremely popular within its region. Originally, the band focused on performing country music, but throughout the years, the shift to a wide variety of songs has occurred. Therefore, it is not uncommon to still hear Country, but it is also not unusual to hear music by Jimmy Buffett, The Eagles, and Led Zeppelin, as well as originals, when the group performs. Also, be sure to get a copy of El Niño for your listening pleasure. Kenny's Travels - El Rojo
Keep up with Kenny's travels.
Winner of the Bob Flores Look Alike Contest It's official. Jimmie Edwards from Arkansas won the "Bob Flores Look Alike Contest" held on April 14, 2008, in Bakersfield, CA. Mr. Edwards is unaware of his honor, nor will he receive anything but a mention of his name and a photo of him on this website, but he is, "hands-down," the spitting image of Bob Flores, the drummer of the Moosehead Band (see images below). As far as we know, Bob has never worn a Confederate uniform or held a sword in the manner that Mr. Edwards is holding his, but if you can picture Bob doing so, you will agree that Mr. Edwards could be his twin. Congratulations Mr. Edwards!
