Oscar Whittington
Visits the Moosehead Band
For those of you who know or have heard about Oscar
Whittington, you might like to hear that he is doing well. Oscar is
well-known for his talents as a band leader and is an amazing fiddle
player who utilized a 5-string to project his captivating melodies. He had a
rough-go not too long ago with his health, but as you know: It is hard to
put a good man down, and he is proof of that. In December of 2005,
he visited Ethel's Old Corral to listen to the band and share a story or
two. All of the members are happy that he is doing well.
